The beta test of “Your Bible” commences on January 17, 2016. We welcome the thoughtful input from those who are skilled in using technology. But just as much, or even more, we value the thoughts of those who find technology awkward to use. Imagine at some future time that some aboriginal person might use “Your Bible” on their newly purchased tablet or Internet enabled TV. We want the app to be sufficiently easy to use that such a person will have no difficulty. We need your help to make this possible.
Testers with an Apple phone or tablet should open the App Store on their phone or tablet and install an app named ‘TestFlight’ from Apple. This app will enable you to test “Your Bible”.
Next, send an email to Gary Griswold at firstname.lastname@example.org, so you can be registered with Apple as a tester.
You will receive an email from the iTunes Store (email@example.com). In the email click on the button titled ‘Start Testing’. This will display a page about the “Your Bible” App. Install it.
Testers with an android phone or tablet simply need to click on the following link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.shortsands.bibleapp
This will take you to a page where you can install the “Your Bible” App.
Comments by testers can be sent to Gary Griswold at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is possible on many phones and tablets to take a picture of the screen by holding down the on/off button and clicking the main button on the face at the same time.
